Şile Factory Rooftop Solar Power Plant

The Şile Factory Rooftop Solar Power Plant, implemented by Solemar Energy in Şile, Istanbul, is a rooftop solar energy project with an installed capacity of 400 kWp DC / 360 kWe AC. In Solemar Energy’s current project portfolio, the project is listed as a Rooftop Solar Power Plant in Istanbul.

Site Characteristics

The system was installed on the factory’s existing trapezoidal sheet metal roof using a clamp-type mounting system that enables installation without penetrating the roof surface. Following a preliminary structural assessment and shading analysis, the solar panel layout was optimised according to the roof’s inclination and orientation.

Project Process

From the initial site survey and quotation stage through to commissioning, the grid connection call letter, project approval and acceptance procedures were managed by our team. The installation was planned to avoid disruption to the facility’s production operations, and following commissioning, the system was connected to a remote monitoring platform.
