Hatay Supermarket Solar Power Plant

The Supermarket Solar Power Plant in Hatay, implemented by Solemar Energy, is one of the company’s commercial solar energy projects, with an installed capacity of 40 kWp DC / 25 kWe AC. The project’s location and capacity are listed with these values in Solemar Energy’s current project portfolio.

Site Characteristics

The roof’s structural system and existing electrical infrastructure were assessed, and the solar panel layout was optimised following a shading analysis. The installation was planned to avoid disruption to the supermarket’s daily operations.

Project Process

From the initial site survey and quotation stage through to commissioning, the grid connection call letter, project approval and acceptance procedures were managed by our team. Following commissioning, the system was connected to a remote monitoring platform.

The project serves as a commercial solar reference project in Hatay, demonstrating the application of solar energy systems for supermarkets and retail businesses. Utilising suitable areas of commercial buildings for electricity generation represents an important application of solar energy systems for businesses.
