İzmir Swimming Pool Solar Power Plant

The İzmir Swimming Pool Solar Power Plant is one of Solemar Energy’s solar energy projects in İzmir, with an installed capacity of 115 kWp DC / 100 kWe AC. The project is included in Solemar Energy’s current portfolio as a solar installation located in İzmir.

Site Characteristics

The roof’s structural system and existing electrical infrastructure were assessed, and the solar panel layout was optimised following a shading analysis.

• Tier-1 monocrystalline solar panels
• String inverters and remote energy production monitoring
• Mounting system suitable for the roof type
• Low-voltage (LV) connection through the existing electrical panel

Project Process

From the initial site survey and quotation stage through to commissioning, the grid connection call letter, project approval and acceptance procedures were managed by our team. Following commissioning, the system was connected to a remote monitoring platform.

The project is one of Solemar Energy’s reference projects demonstrating the application of solar energy systems at facilities with significant electricity consumption, such as swimming pools and sports facilities. In this respect, it represents a different application area among solar energy projects in İzmir, beyond conventional factory and residential installations.
