The Ağva Off Grid Solar Power Plant, implemented by Solemar Energy in Ağva, Istanbul, is one of the company’s off grid solar energy projects, with an installed capacity of 5.9 kWp DC / 5.9 kWe AC. Off grid solar power systems provide solutions designed to meet electricity requirements through solar energy and an energy infrastructure tailored to the specific needs of the project.

Site Characteristics

The required solar panel capacity and battery storage capacity were determined based on the electricity consumption profile. With a hybrid inverter architecture, surplus solar energy generated during the day is stored in the batteries and can be used at night or during periods of low solar generation.

Project Process

From the initial site survey and quotation stage through to commissioning, the grid connection call letter, project approval and acceptance procedures were managed by our team. Following commissioning, the system was connected to a remote monitoring platform.

Off grid solar energy systems can be used particularly for properties without access to the electricity grid or where independent energy use is required. The Ağva Off Grid Solar Power Plant is an example of Solemar Energy’s off grid solar energy applications implemented in Istanbul.
